Fujifilm To Expands Cosmetics Operations

• JAPAN: Fujifilm Corp. plans to ramp up foreign sales of cosmetics products, entering new markets in Asia and Europe this year, according to reports from The Nikkei.

Fujifilm Holdings Corp. plans to start selling its Astalift skin care line and other offerings in South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Russia, Germany, Spain and Italy. It has been selling in the Chinese market since last year.

A new brand geared toward younger customers and set to debut in Japan later this month will eventually be marketed abroad as well.
