• US Patent No. 8,211,413 B2; You See, LLC, Apopka, FL, has patented a method of preventing coloring of the skin adjacent the hairline when dyeing a person’s hair. It entails preparing a composition consisting of alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerin, ethylhexyl palmitate, bambusa vulgaris extract, steareth, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, dimethicone, allantoin and water and applying that composition along the hairline to form a film mask on the skin adjacent the hairline. After the hair is dyed, the mask is peeled off.
