Nature’s Gate Celebrates 40 Years With Special Edition Body Wash

August 31, 2012

A vintage re-issue from Nature’s Gate.

• In Venice Beach 40 years ago, brothers Leo and Vladimir first blended botanicals from their herb shop with fresh rainwater to create Nature’s Gate Herbal Rainwater Shampoo. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, Nature’s Gate is going back to its roots with a special edition body wash. The 40th Anniversary Herbal Body Wash will evoke nostalgia in long-term, loyal Nature’s Gate customers, while introducing a new generation to the heritage of the brand. The vintage bottle, logo and label design are reminiscent of the original Herbal Rainwater Shampoo, while the gentle, moisturizing formula combines the same herbal aroma and botanical extracts used in Nature’s Gate’s first product 40 years ago.

Shea butter moisturizes the skin while sweet almond oil nourishes and infuses skin with vitamin E. Both sage and lavender keep skin looking youthful and healthy while chamomile and yarrow are chock full of anti-inflammatory and skin calming properties. The disinfectant and antibiotic properties of rosemary and thyme contribute to healthier, clearer and smoother skin.
