New TricorBraun Website Offers Enhanced Search
• TricorBraun has relaunched http://tricorbraun.com, a revised enhanced website that simplifiessearching among the company’s more than 35,000 rigid packaging products, according to the company.
RapidFind 2.0 offers a more intuitive product search function in addition to a new text-seeking capability so users can review their packaging options more quickly and with superior precision than its predecessor version, which was considered the industry leader when introduced in 1998.
It is designed like a traditional retail website and enables its users to refine ongoing searches though a series of filters that appear on the screen. Refinements also allow the site to be used effortlessly by smart phones.
“TricorBraun sources rigid packaging components on a worldwide basis, offering customers unmatched options. Our mission with the new website is to assure that its users are not overwhelmed by the selection’s size. We are certain website visitors can make informed decisions smoothly and quickly. This will help businesses achieve greater speed to market,” according to Keith Strope, president and chief executive officer of the company.
In addition to www.tricorbraun.com, TricorBraun Design and Engineering’s and TricorBraun WinePak’s websites have been revised.
The Design and Engineering site includes additional case studies to help users learn how packaging challenges have been overcome by other businesses.

M&H Plastics Doles Out a Serving of Fruit
• Nspa, a line of personal care created by Nirvana Spa, selected M&H Plastics for the re-packaging of its mouth-watering Nspa Fruit collection of skin care products. The company said it selected M&H because the firm had the capability to manufacture, print and label the bottles, jars and tubes in-house.
M&H manufactured a 225ml tube for the range of scrubs and body lotions, which were decorated using M&H’s new hybrid print technology to give photo-realistic images of the fruits on pack. The body butter range used M&H’s 250ml body butter jars while the shower and bath gels took M&H 500ml flat base Boston round bottles.

• World Wide Packaging LLC. (WWP) has met innovation with elegance by housing the first “chocolate toothpaste.” The new Theodent, which successfully substitutes fluoride for a blend of minerals that includes cocoa bean extract, is offered in a sophisticated WWP tube whose angular shape and shallow depth afford a sleek yet professional appeal, according to the company. The head of the one-piece tube is triangular in shape, with dramatic hard edges punctuated by one of the most complex caps ever commercially produced. The cap includes a flexible plug.
Available at select Whole Foods Market locations, Theodent offers an alternative to consumers through a formula that relies on cocoa bean extracts. However, the toothpaste has a traditional mint taste as opposed to a chocolate flavor.
