• Ashland Inc.: went knocking on a former Avon execs’ door and she happily answered their calling. Ashland Inc. added Janice Teal to its board of directors, according to The Associated Press. She is a former group vice president and chief scientific officer with Avon Products Inc. She retired from the beauty products company in 2010. With the addition of Teal, the company’s board now has 11 directors.
