The development of beauty devices is still going strong—as seen with recent launches from Syneron Beauty Inc., a subsidiary of Syneron Medical Ltd. The global aesthetic device company recently rolled out its new mē smooth at-home professional hair removal system on QVC. The device will be packaged with a travel bag and an additional cartridge.
“We are thrilled to work with QVC to offer the mē smooth hair removal system,” states Fabian Tenenbaum, chief executive officer of Syneron Beauty. “QVC’s multiplatform presence will allow us to educate the consumer about elōs technology.”
Powered by patented elōs technology, which combines Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radio Frequency (RF) energies, the mē smooth professional hair removal system selectively targets hair follicles and delivers heat deep into the dermis to inhibit hair regrowth, according to the company. Syneron also launched an oral care system in stores, as previously reported in Happi.
