Avon Names New Global Ambassador

Shayk to serve as spokesperson, model in print.

Avon officially named international supermodel Irina Shayk as the brand’s new global beauty ambassador. According to the company, she  will not only serve as a global spokesperson for Avon makeup, but appear in upcoming beauty campaigns and Avon brochures.
 
A native of a small village in Russia, Irina has never forgotten her roots, all the while appearing in US and international editions of magazines like Cosmopolitan, GQ, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar. When she’s not walking the runway or appearing in international advertising campaigns, she’s managing her charity which helps children and families in need in Russia.
 
"While her exterior beauty is obvious, Irina’s kindness and charity are a huge asset—Avon is proud to be working with a women so gorgeous inside and out," said the company in a press statement.
