Kevin Murphy Introduces Shine Repairing Mist

July 10, 2013

A touch of shimmer completes the formulation.

Australian hair care brand Kevin Murphy recently launched a new product category for the brand – treatment styling. Shimmer Shine ($27.50), a repairing shine mist, is the segment’s first introduction. Light-reflective technology derived from skin care formulation gives hair brilliant shine with no oily residue, said the company. The product also contains treatment ingredients such as essential oils, bioflavonoids and vitamins to repair damaged hair.

According to Murphy, “The daily use of styling products can result in the need for treatment products to restore tired, overworked hair. By adding bamboo extracts and vitamins A, C and E to Shimmer Shine, consumers get the benefits of styling and treatment in one bottle – reviving shine and repairing hair simultaneously.”

Other key ingredients include Australian rainforest fruit extracts rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, antioxidant Immortelle, and baobab seed oil to moisturize while improving elasticity.
