More than 50% of the pedestrian slip and fall accidents that occur each year are as a result of wet or contaminated walking surfaces. And the best way to avoid a slipping accident is to avoid walking on a wet floor surface all together.
To advance industry knowledge as it pertains to measuring the safety of wet floors our association convened several experts to test the slip resistance of wet surfaces using a variety of known tools and methodologies. The results of their research can be found in the comprehensive study - Measuring the Slip Resistance of Wet Floors: Which Testers Perform Best? The study is available as a FREE download on the CSPA website.
