BASF Home & Personal Care appointed three industry experts to new positions at the company. Markus Schuenke will take over the position of vice president, Home & Personal Care, North America. He has over two decades of sales management, marketing and business management experience in the chemical industry with demonstrated acumen in delivering profitable growth. Schuenke joined BASF after 12 years with Cognis, where he led the European business for Care Chemicals and Inorganics. Prior to taking over the position as VP Care Chemicals NA H/PC /I&I, he was leading the business for the Global Key Accounts of Care Chemicals in the Americas.
Frank Freiler will assume responsibility as vice president, Key Account Management for the Americas. He recently returned to the US after a successful two-year assignment leading the global BASF Beauty Creations business out of France.
Penny Antonopoulos joined BASF in the role of Hair & Body Marketing Manager – North America. She will be based in Florham Park, NJ, and joins BASF with over 15 years of personal care industry experience. Most recently, she was with Ashland/ISP serving in roles of marketing communication, hair care marketing and skin care marketing.
