September 20, 2013

Tweezerman owner builds personal care portfolio.

The Zwilling J.A. Henckels Group—owner of New York-based Tweezerman International LLC, NY—acquired a majority share of QVS Global, one of the most experienced and innovative mass and medium market personal care accessories companies in the world.

The move firmly positions the Zwilling Beauty Group as a leading force in the beauty tools and personal care accessories category, and strengthens the position of Tweezerman International, LLC in the US market by positioning it as a leading full service provider for beauty tools and accessories across all price and product segments.

QVS Global was founded in 2004 and has its head office in Dongguan, China and a competence center heading its brand and product development initiatives in Melbourne, Australia. The company has a strong expertise in both private label programs as well as in entry and mid-price point tool and accessories brands such as QVS, UBU, Savi, Cosmetrix and Browtician. QVS Global products are sold through multiple channels worldwide including drug stores, specialty and department stores and the food and mass channel.

In addition to QVS Global and its own beauty tool line, Zwilling Beauty, Zwilling owns US-based Tweezerman International LLC since 2004. Tweezerman is known throughout the world for professional quality, cutting edge beauty tools with a strong and loyal following and has achieved aggressive growth both in the US and in international markets since the acquisition.
