The Personal Care Product Council will hold its 2013 Emerging Issues Conference on Nov. 13 in Santa Monica, CA. The Emerging Issues Conference remains one of the best opportunities for Western region companies to meet each other, network with fellow industry leaders, and make connections with Council staff experts.
This annual event attracts industry leaders from across the US to focus on challenges we see sprouting for our industry. It is designed to allow manufacturers and suppliers to gain insight into the thinking of industry leaders regarding emerging regulatory issues and legislative trends.
Regulations being considered in California have an impact on every manufacturer and consumer in the United States. Water, waste, air, packaging, ingredients, recycling, new technology, whatever the issue, the discussions often begin in this state. Information packed sessions will focus on the regulatory, legislative, and scientific issues affecting the cosmetic industry, as well as international developments and an update on FDA activities. Senior Council staff will be on hand to bring attendees up to date on these and other regulatory matters and answer questions directly.
