Pond's Adds BB Cream to Luminous Line

Taps Connie Britton to promote latest addition to mass market line.

Connie Britton, Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominated star of the TV series "Nashville,"  is pitching Pond’s Luminous Finish BB+, a new beauty benefit cream from the Unilever brand.
 
Pond’s Luminous Finish BB+ is the latest addition to the brand’s Luminous Line. The product provides flawless coverage in seconds plus more even skin tone in two weeks. The multi-tasking beauty benefit cream has a unique pigment system designed to immediately conceal imperfections for natural-looking coverage. Unlike other BB creams, it is formulated with Tone Perfecting Complex that visibly fades dark spots.  The SPF 15 formula contains UVA and UVB sun protection against skin-damaging rays. The BB+ cream has a superior* coverage of imperfections, dark spot reduction and non-greasy feel with a matte finish.
 
 
Britton, who is teaming up with the skin care brand for the year to come, is kicking  off the partnership via the "Pond’s BB+BFF Sweepstakes. Women can enter by creating a custom e-card with a photo of them with their BFF to serve as a reminder of the beauty of their friendship.  Each e-card will serve as an entry to the sweepstakes, which runs through Oct. 31, 2013. Weekly prizes will be awarded, plus one of two grand prize BFF-worthy getaways to the Bahama Beach Club, a luxury ocean-side resort.  Women can also enter to win by sharing their review of Pond’s BB+ Cream on the brand’s Facebook page.
 
The complete Luminous Line—which includes day lotions, cleansers and towelettes— is available at mass retailers, select drugstores and supermarkets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $4.99 - $9.99.
