Limited Brands, Inc. (now known as L Brands, Inc.) reported 2013 third quarter results that ended Nov. 2, 2013 and increased its 2013 full-year earnings guidance.
The company reported a 6% increase in net sales to $2.2 billion for the third quarter.  The company reported a comparable store sales increase of 3% for the 13 weeks ended Nov. 2, 2013, compared to the 13 weeks ended Nov. 3, 2012.
Third quarter operating income was $211.0 million compared to adjusted operating income of $197.4 million last year, and net income was $92.0 million compared to adjusted net income of $75.6 million last year.
For 2013, the company stated that it expects fourth quarter earnings of $1.67 to $1.82 per share.  For 2013, the company expects earnings per share of $3.07 to $3.22.  
Limited Brands, through Victoria's Secret, Pink, Bath & Body Works, La Senza and Henri Bendel, is an international company.  The company operates 2,655 specialty stores in the United States and its brands are sold in about 800 company-operated and franchised additional locations worldwide.
