Dreft Creates Mobile App

December 12, 2013

P&G’s octogenarian detergent brand goes high-tech.

Dreft baby laundry detergent has a new high-tech addition to its family: the “Amazing Baby Days” app for mobile devices. Designed with both expecting and new parents in mind, the free app offers a simple, convenient way to capture, document and share all the special moments from pregnancy through baby’s first year, which can easily be published into a beautiful book and then shared with friends and family, according to the P&G brand.

Parents can download the app for free in the App store on Apple iTunes.

To help launch the “Amazing Baby Days” mobile app, Dreft has partnered with expectant celebrity parents, Kevin and Danielle Jonas. Throughout the coming weeks, consumers can view exclusive content from the couple as they prepare for their upcoming arrival on Dreft's Facebook page and Twitter handle.

New and expecting parents are more connected to their mobile devices than ever before. Their phones and tablets are an extension of their lifestyle and often serves as personal assistants as they navigate new parenthood,” said Rob Reiss, Procter & Gamble, brand manager for Dreft. “As a brand that has proudly connected with parents for over 80 years, we wanted to do something more that further enables them to make every moment of babyhood amazing - and we thrilled to do that as we launch 'Amazing Baby Days' with Kevin and Danielle.”
