Fashion Fair Cosmetics, Chicago, has named Amy S. Hilliard as its new president, effective Feb. 24. Fashion Fair is a division of Johnson Publishing.
Hilliard will report to Johnson Publishing CEO Desiree Rogers and will be responsible for leading the cosmetics company's operations, including marketing, sales, operations and retail partnerships. Hilliard replaces Clarisa Wilson, who left Fashion Fair last summer to take a job with a hair care company.
Noted Rogers of the Hilliard appointment: "Amy comes to us with an extensive background in marketing and business development, and we look forward to having her expertise and leadership as we re-launch the Fashion Fair Cosmetics brand and continue our business growth."
Added Hilliard: "This company holds an iconic role in the African-American community. I am excited to play a role in the company's growth and expansion globally."
Prior to joining Fashion Fair, Hilliard was CEO, President and founder of the ComfortCake Company and the Hilliard Group. Hilliard also served in leadership roles at L'Oreal for the Soft Sheen Products division, Burrell Communications Group, the Pillsbury Co. and the Gillette Co.
A Detroit native, Hilliard has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Howard University.
