Brazil is Latin America's largest economy and the fifth largest country in the world with a population estimated to be about 200 million. Moreover, it is the No. 3 market for cosmetics and toiletries. No wonder, then, that the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists will hold a one-day symposium on Brazil. The event is slated for May 12, the day BEFORE Suppliers' Day.
Demographically, Brazil is one of the most ethnically diverse countries and a major consumer of personal care products and fragrances. Brazil’s biological diversity is the largest in the world. It is blessed with abundant raw materials which can have use in personal care.As more companies are embracing globalization to reach new customers in new markets, a greater understanding of consumer preferences, important product types, and regulatory issues in this vast and growing market is essential.
The NYSCC, in conjunction with its world renowned Suppliers Day event, has assembled a program of experts to further explore this land of immense opportunities.
