Kline & Company appointed Karen Doskow to director, Consumer Products in Kline’s Market Research division. She is a well-known and highly respected authority within the personal care, home fragrances, beauty devices, professional skin care industries. This promotion is a culmination of her hard work and commitment not only to Kline & Company, but also to the industry and her clients.
Doskow has been with Kline for 19 years and during her tenure, she has designed, developed, and elevated many of Kline’s titles into perennial best sellers, including Professional Skin Care, Beauty Devices, and Home Fragrances; in 2011, she supervised a first-of-its-kind report on the market for at-home skin care devices.
According to Carrie Mellage, vice president, Consumer Products, “Karen is the whole package. She sees the bigger picture, recognizing which trends and developments are most important to our clients, and she develops new report concepts to address these developments and client needs. She works closely with her research teams to make sure our reports are of outstanding quality and on schedule.”
Reporting to Mellage, Doskow will have greater responsibility for the overall Consumer Products group and for ensuring Kline meets its collective revenue targets. In her new role as director, she will also be accountable for bringing new report concepts to market, particularly in the beauty industry.
Doskow is a frequent presenter at major conferences, and is also frequently quoted as an industry expert in various publications, including Happi.
