March 6, 2014

Robertet 'scentsed' a winner in Dubuisson.

Robertet is celebrating professional golf player Victor Dubuisson on his 2nd place win at the WGC Accenture match play on Sunday, Feb.  23rd. His sponsorship with Robertet began a little over a year ago in Grasse, the birthplace of perfumery in the South of France and the global headquarters of Robertet Group. Dubuisson is a native of the area, born in the nearby French Riviera town of Cannes. He has been perfecting his game on the local fairways for years, playing regularly in Grasse with members of the Fragrance Industry and the Maubert family.

Due to a long history together and the promise of an exciting young player, the Robertet Group became his first global sponsor. Because of all these reasons, Victor Dubuisson is an excellent ambassador for Robertet Group and its Seed to Scent program. Dubuisson is known in the golf community as both “Dubush” and “Golden Hands” and is one of the newest and most exciting young players in of the golf world. After having played just four tournaments on the PGA tour and just 23 years of age, his startling performance has earned him comparisons with legendary European players such as Seve Ballesteros.

Dubuisson is now ranked the #1 French Pro-Golfer and the 23rd best player in the world. This is the highest ranking ever achieved by a French golfer. He has impressed both Ryder Cup captains and has a 99% sure chance to make it into the European Ryder Cup Team Roster, said sources at Robertet.
