Sunstar Brings Equitance To US Market

New skin care line combines topicals with dietary supplement.

Sunstar Americas, Inc., member of Sunstar Group, is rolling out its Equitance collection in the US market, the firm’s foray into the skin care category in the country. The range, which includes topical formulations as well as a supplement, will be available online next month at equitance-us.com.
 
The six SKUs in the line, which centers on brightening, include a foaming cleanser, toning lotion, serum + spot corrector, cream, a broad-spectrum SPF 36 sunscreen and the supplements.
 
Sunstar unveiled the line to editors last night in New York City.
 
A sustained delivery system delivers linoleic acid as the brightening agent; other ingredients include cherry blossom leaf extract and shell ginger extract. Sunstar, which traces its lineage to Japan, is headquartered in Switzerland. The firm was ranked No. 28 in Happi’s 2013 International Top Companies Report.
