LA Looks is Looking for Models

June 26, 2014

Kicks off model search on Facebook.

L.A. Looks has embarked on a model search via Facebook by asking fans to submit a photo with their best "L.A. Look." Male and female fans will vie for the chance to win a trip to L.A. for a professional photo shoot and a surprise VIP experience, including airfare, L.A. car rental, hotel and a trip stipend.

"L.A. Looks has an extremely passionate fan base and it was a natural choice to target our trendy fans," said Newhall Laboratories VP of marketing Jocelyn Yuan Riddle. "Since last year's model search was such a hit, we are once again looking for a man and woman who embody our modern brand both in appearance and spirit. Winners will get a chance to be featured in high-profile L.A. Looks brand marketing materials."

Women and men 18 and older can enter by visiting the L.A. Looks Facebook page, becoming a fan, and submitting a photo through
Sept. 6, 2014. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, quality of photo and overall appeal. Using these criteria, the judges will select 10 women and men for the finalist stage. Starting on Sept. 22, 2014, L.A. Looks will ask its fans to vote and determine who the two grand-prize winners will be, with the winner announcement to be made later in the fall.

The model search will be promoted on product packaging, social media and the website.
