Mixed Quarter at Herbalife

July 29, 2014

Net sales are up, but net income is down.

In the wake of recent events, Herbalife Ltd posted lower than expected second quarter 2014 results – but still managed to see an increase in numbers. The nutrition and personal care company reported second quarter net sales rose 7% to $1.3 billion. However, net income slipped 6% to $141.4 million.

Due to a slowdown in America region, Herbalife now expects sales growth in the range of 8.5% to 10.5%, lower than the prior expectation of 10.0% to 12.0%, according to the company that is part of Happi’s Top 50 report.
