Moisturizing ingredient normalizes barrier function.

Optimizing lipid organization, reinforcing epidermal cohesion and activating keratinocyte differentiation are the three biological mechanisms involved in skin hydration homeostasis. Silab has developed Cohesium, a repairing and moisturizing active ingredient, rich in purified ophiopogon tuber fructosans.

With an INCI name of water and ophiopogon japonicus root extract , this new ingredient normalizes the barrier function.
