Agaia Inc.'s industrial laundry detergent, Evolve Laundry Complete 203L, has been certified by Green Seal as the first detergent to meet its recently published GS-51 guidelines for laundry care products for industrial and institutional use.

"Many organizations rely on Green Seal certification to ensure that products they purchase are safer and more sustainable, and we are pleased to be part of that family. Evolve's patented, natural technology has demonstrated the ability to deliver real world efficacy traditionally seen only from synthetic detergents derived from petroleum,” said Mike Linn, Agaia, CEO of the Fort Lauderdale, FL-based company.

Five Evolve-based Agaia products received Green Seal certifications:

GS-37: Cleaning Products for Industrial & Institutional Use: Evolve All Surface Cleaner, Evolve Glass & Window Cleaner, Evolve All Duty Industrial Cleaner 203; GS-53: Specialty Cleaning Products for Industrial and Institutional Use: Evolve Hard Water & Scale Remover; GS-51: Laundry Care Products for Industrial and Institutional Use: Evolve Laundry Complete 203L

"Agaia has demonstrated their leadership by being the first detergent certified to this recent standard," said Dr. Arthur Weissman, president and CEO of Green Seal. "We applaud them for raising the bar for sustainability in the laundry care industry."
