New Surfactant at Innospec

August 5, 2014

What's the latest ingredient for hair and skin products?

The latest creation at Innospec Performance Chemicals is Iselux Ultra Mild. According to the company, Iselux Ultra Mild is a concentrated surfactant blend developed for use in ultra mild cleanser applications.  It is tear-free and extremely gentle on skin and hair.  It is free from sulfates, EO, 1,4-dioxane, nitrosamines, parabens and formaldehyde.  It is approximately 80% naturally derived from renewable plant-based resources.

Iselux Ultra Mild is an optimized blend designed for ease of use.  It can be cold processed and produces stable formulations while only requiring the addition of water for dilution and electrolytes and/or pH adjustment for viscosity control.

This ingredient produces crystal clear formulations and provides the dense luxurious lather and soft after-feel that have distinguished the Iselux line of surfactants from all others, said Innospec.
