It happens only once in a lifetime… Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) will make it memorable its 100th anniversary memorable for the industry this Dec. 7-11 in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the 2014 Annual Meeting and 100-Year Anniversary Celebration at The Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Past leaders will be honored for the work they did to build the consumer and institutional formulated products industry and current leaders will share their visions for the future.
On Monday, Doug Stephens, one of the world’s foremost retail industry futurists kicks off the event. He is the author of “The Retail Revival: Re-Imagining Business for the New Age of Consumerism” and an acclaimed speaker who has engaged audiences around the world. Following the general session, “Bringing Together Federal & State Leaders: Priorities & Perspectives on Chemical Policy Management” is a blockbuster program of legislative experts ready to prognosticate on the future of TSCA and other critical legislation. At cocktail hour, the party begins in earnest with Suppliers Night Karaoke festivities at the cabanas on the beach.
Back by popular demand on Dec. 9 is a lively breakfast-included panel discussion – this time featuring executives representing manufacturers, suppliers, marketers and retailers exploring “A Sustainable Future for the Supply Chain.” Committee and division meetings end at 1pm that day and conference attendees will have the afternoon for Community Building – literally. Starting a new CSPA tradition, there will be opportunities to participate in a community service project with Habitat for Humanity, to learn cooking tricks of the trade from a nationally—known chef, or to simply relax and rejuvenate on the golf course, tennis court or poolside.
Wednesday Dec. 10 is a full day of jam-packed division programs and committee meetings with a focus on the future. When the sun goes down, the music starts and the 100-Year Anniversary Celebration Party gets going under the stars. Don’t forget to your bring dancing shoes.
