Shea Radiance, a beauty company that uses shea butter sourced from women in West Africa to produce its natural hair and body care products, has re-branded itself. Products are sold online and in retail.
Shea Radiance is a WBENC certified business that helps women feel beautiful and powerful by creating luxurious hair and body care products, using shea butter as a key ingredient. We produce in small artisanal batches using shea butter from a select harvest, sourced directly from women run cooperatives in West Africa.
“The new look of Shea Radiance better reflects the values and esthetics of the eclectic, savvy and luxury focused woman,” said co-founder and CEO Funlayo Alabi. “Our tag line, ‘Women's Gold,’ reflects our focus on delivering valuable beauty products to our customers and empowering the women in our supply chain. Shea Butter is called Women's Gold because women in West Africa use the proceeds from shea butter to clothe and educate their children.”
Give gifts of beauty and hope this holiday season; 10 percent of all purchases from its website will be donated to a maternity clinic in Abobo in the Ivory Coast. Learn more about this project here.
