L'Oréal and CFAO have inked a protocol agreement covering the production and distribution of cosmetic products in Ivory Coast. to accelerate its expansion into markets in French-speaking West Africa.
CFAO will be the sole distributor of L'Oréal international consumer brands in Ivory Coast, helping the beauty giant accelerate its expansion into markets in French-speaking West Africa.
"The distribution and production partnership with CFAO is part of a strategic plan for the L'Oréal Group in Ivory Coast and French-speaking West Africa. Ivory Coast is a fast-growing market where beauty products have a strong appeal among local consumers. It is crucial for L'Orйal to increase its presence in these expanding markets," said Geoff Skingsley, L'Oréal's managing director for Africa Middle-East Zone.
CFAO has operations in 37 countries, including 34 in Africa, and seven French overseas territories.
