RB's Air Wick brand has opened up a “Home is in the Air” pop-up experience at the Mall of America in Bloomington, IN. The three-dimensional home showcases the new Air Wick Life Scents collection, which features patent-pending technology that allows consumers to experience multi-dimensional fragrances that mimic real life.
To bring the Life Scents experience to consumers, Air Wick's Home is in the Air pop-up features multiple rooms each curated by lifestyle experts around a different immersive scent experience inspired by Air Wick's Life Scents collection.
Lifestyle experts Kate Arends, Wing Ta, Zoe Francois and Martha McQuade partnered with Air Wick to design several rooms in the home and host scent-inspired home curation workshops throughout the duration of the pop up experience. Focusing on the important role scent plays in setting the mood, the workshops cover simple home decor tips and tricks as well as DIY projects – like how to create a gallery wall – that help to establish the mood one is looking to create to turn a house into a home.
"We believe scent plays a huge role in setting the mood at home, and thought the best way to showcase Life Scents was by bringing the at home experience directly to consumers," said Tiffany Mclaud, marketing director, Air Wick. "The pop-up at the Mall of America allows consumers to experience the Life Scents difference first-hand and see how scent can complete the decor of any room to make a house a home."
While visiting the pop-up, guests will have the opportunity to use the Air Wick Scent Decorator, a new tool designed to promote self-expression in the home. Users are asked to choose any combination of images that match the environment they are looking to create at home. After selecting images, users are provided with a page detailing the desired mood, as well as Air Wick fragrances, home decor tips, and DIY projects they can use to curate their homes.
Following their Life Scents pop-up experience, visitors will receive a special Life Scents package to help inspire their own home's creation. Guests will be able to check back into their experience via a unique QR code they will be provided, where they will find all of the tips and tricks shared by the Air Wick Lifestyle experts for personal use or to share with family and friends. Guests are encouraged to share their favorite Home is in the Air tips and hacks on social media.
The pop up will be on site in the Mall of America until March 29.
