In-Cosmetics 2015 in Barcelona gets underway in less than two weeks (April 14-16), but the group is looking elsewhere too, by breaking into new territories in Korea and Brazil. Last year, In-Cosmetics events welcomed over 16,000 visitors in Germany, Brazil and Thailand. The Group expects attendance to be up 20% this year in part due to the launch of In-Cosmetics Korea, being held in Seoul between June 15 and 16, and the growth of In-Cosmetics Brasil (in Sao Paulo between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1), which held its founding show in 2014.
A mature market, Korea is the fourth largest in Asia and this new addition to the In-Cosmetics portfolio is on course to attract over 2,000 industry experts keen to meet and network with 150+ exhibitors, according to organizers. While in Brazil, In-Cosmetics will be harnessing the success of its first show as a springboard to position the event as the hub for the Latin American personal care industry to come together, attracting visitors from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and more.
“Korea is an exciting development,” said Lucy Gillam, director, In-Cosmetics Group. “Alongside our Brazilian show, it is part of our vision to expand In-Cosmetics into recognized but growing local markets. In Brazil and Korea, In-Cosmetics is the only event to exclusively target the personal care industry, offering a focused and unrivalled opportunity for companies to connect with the global marketplace.”
These new shows complement the events taking place in Barcelona next month and In-Cosmetics Asia (Nov. 3-5) in Bangkok, and sees the In-Cosmetics Group increase its overall floor space this year to over 65,000m2 and run more than 170 hours of seminars and workshops.
