CLT International announced today that it has acquired the Canadian rights to Salon Selectives hair care products, completing CLT's holding of North American trademark rights for the hair care brand.
This newest acquisition is in addition to the compayt’s growing rights to the Daily Defense hair care and Airall room deodorizing products trademarks.
Salon Selectives was created by Helene Curtis in 1987 and acquired by Unilever in 1996. TheUS rights were then acquired by CLT International in 2010. CLT revived the brand inclusive of shampoos, conditioners and styling aids and restored the brand’s iconic green apple scent.
"We are extremely excited about adding the Canadian rights of this popular brand to our portfolio of personal and hair care products", said Jack Wilkinson, principal of Salon Selectives. "This allows us to provide world class brands to an even broader reach, in which we can offer an affordably priced solution to consumers' needs with a premium quality product."
