In-Cosmetics North America and Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD) Association have formed a partnership to promote In-Cosmetics North America, Sept.7 & 8, 2016, in New York City, to its 700-plus members. With a specific focus on helping international cosmetic and personal care businesses succeed in their highly competitive industries, ICMAD will highlight the numerous benefits of attending the two-day event, including: networking, educational and business opportunities. The trade association’s members will profit from hearing about the latest consumer trends and attending hands-on formulation lab sessions, as well as joining numerous innovation seminars that highlight new ideas and techniques. Additionally, the first In-Cosmetics North America personal care ingredients event will bring together around 150 ingredients suppliers from across the globe, enabling cosmetics manufacturers to source the most innovative raw materials.
“In-Cosmetics events have a reputation for providing invaluable knowledge that inspires cosmetic manufacturers to create exciting new products," said Pamela J. Busiek, ICMAD president and CEO. "We at ICMAD pride ourselves on being able to offer assistance to our members concerning constantly-evolving regulatory requirements. Events like in-cosmetics North America will help our members further their education and we are delighted to collaborate with this show in September.”
Among those confirmed to speak are Amanda Hartzmark of Euromonitor International who will discuss the changing consumer landscape in the US market, while Kline’s Nikola Matic and David Tyrell of Mintel will discuss consumer beauty trends and key products respectively. Attendees will also hear from ICMAD, which will host a session covering Chinese and EU regulations and more—designed to help US-based companies have a clear understanding of the legislative and regulatory compliances that are essential to their global business opportunities.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with ICMAD," said Daniel Zanetti, exhibition director, In-Cosmetics North America. "North America remains one of the most creative and inspiring personal care markets, with the recent growth of manufacturers helping it maintain its position as the world’s leading market.'
Zanetti said that ICMAD does a fantastic job helping companies understand the opportunities and threats of running a business in the global cosmetic industry.
"In-Cosmetics North America will complement its excellent program by delivering highly informative sessions that will ensure North American cosmetic manufacturers are well placed to succeed in the long term.”
In-Cosmetics North America will take place in New York City from 7-8 September 2016. Attendees can also take advantage of shuttles running to and from the event MakeUp in New York, which runs on the same dates.
