Beverage company Hint is entering the sun care market. The company’s new hint sunscreen spray, an SPF 30 mist, that is said to stimulate the senses with three natural fruit essences – grapefruit, pear or pineapple – while protecting your skin without oxybenzone or parabens. hint SPF 30 mist provides easy 360-degree application, extra-fast drying time and water-resistant coverage for 80 minutes, according to the San Francisco-based company founded by CEO Kara Goldin.
“I often think about new product categories and always start by asking myself, ‘how could the experience of using this product be better and healthier, too?’” Goldin said about sunscreen. Her thought process: applying sunscreen could be a great experience if she engaged the consumer’s sense of smell.“If you are already a fan of our delicious hint unsweetened flavored water, you can imagine how amazing this sunscreen will smell as you apply it.
