Advanced Ceramide Technology from Elizabeth Arden

March 14, 2017

Skin care capsules get an upgrade.

As a leader in ceramide technology, Elizabeth Arden has been researching and learning more about ceramides and their role in the skin for 27 years. Research shows that while ceramides are critical to the stratum corneum, other lipids such as cholesterol and fatty acids play an important role as well, and all three together are essential to a healthy looking skin barrier. Based on this information, in the new Advanced Ceramide Capsules formula, the brand adjusted the combination of these lipids, with new and elevated levels of skin-identical ceramides, higher levels of fatty acids, and a new ingredient, cholesterol, to further help support the stratum corneum.
