Chris Stirewalt, politics editor, Fox News Channel will be the keynote speaker at the midyear meeting of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA). The midyear meeting will take place May 16-18 at the Gaylord Hotel, National Harbor, Maryland. A pre-conference Product Care training session will be held May 15.
The midyear meeting will open with a priority issues update on TSCA, PRIA, Safer Choice Program and Zika. Later, a session on TSCA will look at regulatory implementation and the role of consortia. The midyear meeting general session gets underway with Stirewalt's keynote, followed by remarks from CSPA Chairman Bil Auriemma and an Association Update from CSPA President and CEO Steve Caldeira. Former CSPA Chairman Jeannene Ackerman will present the winner of the Murray Glaubermann Memorial Scholarship. Later, there are sessions devoted to California Prop. 65 compliance and electronic submissions.
On Wednesday, May 17, the aerosol products and air care products will hold concurrent sessions from 2-5pm.
On Thursday, May 18, the day begins with a special session entitled: Retail, Industry and NGO Leaders Tackle Challenges of Chemicals Management, followed by a session on NAFTA and how it may change under the Trump Administration. Three concurrent division programs are scheduled for Thursday afternoon, including: antimicrobial products, cleaning products and polishes and floor maintenance products.
