April 21, 2017

Method for plastic containers available from CSPA.

The Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) published a method and standard for aerosol products in plastic containers. The publication is available for purchase on the CSPA website as an appendix to the CSPA Aerosol Guide. The plastic aerosol voluntary standard is available at a cost of $45 for CSPA members and $60 for non-members and can be purchased here.
The Plastic Aerosol Research Group (PARG), coordinated by the Research and Regulatory Management Council (RMMC), an affiliate of CSPA, developed the voluntary standard test method related to the development and manufacturing of aerosol products in plastic containers, also known as “plastic aerosol.”  Specifically, this method is intended to provide information on conducting evaluations to address regulatory requirements and identifying appropriate measurements during the development and manufacturing of aerosol products in plastic containers.  In response to requests for an international standard, CSPA is including the standard as an appendix to the CSPA Aerosol Guide and is making the standard available for sale to interested parties.

It’s time to start thinking about spring and participating in Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) Mid-Year Meeting, Transition 2017, on May 15-18 at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel in Maryland to meet with colleagues, business partners, and experts in the consumer and institutional products industry.
