Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) will host over 33,000 attendees and 1,100 exhibitors from nearly 40 countries at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV on July 9-11. The event will cover all aspects of the industry; allowing retailers, distributors, beauty brands and suppliers alike the opportunity to discover trend-directional solutions to meet their needs from packaging, to cosmetic & personal care and professional beauty.
At the event, CPNA will debut multiple new programs on the forefront of innovation, as well as strategic partnerships with social media leaders that will increase awareness of the exhibiting brands among beauty’s top executives and influencers.
CPNA will be creating specialized categories that highlight a certain innovation. Some of the new 2017 event are: Discover Green Leaf, dedicated to green, eco-friendly beauty products in the professional, spa and hospitality sector; Discover Pack, dedicated to first-time exhibitors exemplifying unique packaging and contract manufacturing solutions; and Discover Pro Beauty, offering diverse products from haircare products and hair treatments to skincare and tools.
Returning to the event will be Discover Beauty, focused on niche international beauty brands; Discover Spotlight, a showcase for companies that are big in creativity yet smaller in size but who are a great fit for mainstream stores; and Tones of Beauty, a showcase of brands committed to the evolving shades & types of beauty of the multicultural consumer.
Also returning is Discover Green, a section for brands dedicated to green, eco-friendly, clean, organic, and/or natural products in beauty, as well as showcasing fresh ideas from the beauty market; and Discover Scent, a section dedicated entirely to fragrance.
The Entrepreneur Academy will be offering day long series of workshops, not offered by any other industry event or trade show, focused on everything you need to know to run a beauty business.
The floor show will have unique attractions where exhibitors and attendees can participate. Boutique is a one-of-a-kind sample bar that provides the opportunity for visitors to make their own beauty box. After a small donation, which goes to Look Good Feel Better, visitors can select from 20 pre-selected products. Glamour Me is an on-floor beauty lounge where select exhibitors showcase new products through 30-minute services with donations collected for the PBA Foundation.
Merchants from online shopping leaders like QVC will be hosting an “open see” casting call to review brands looking for the next new beauty product and on-air talent spokesperson; Amazon Beauty will be scouting the show floor to find rising stars in the beauty industry to feature in the 2nd annual “Discovered at Cosmoprof Boutique.”
“Cosmoprof North America is a celebration of beauty that provides key executives from around the world with the opportunity to discover new partnerships for growth and innovative solutions for evolving brands,” said Daniela Ciocan, CPNA marketing director. “This year’s unique exhibitors and debut programs, coupled with the high caliber of our attendees, guarantees yet another successful event that will exceed expectations.”
