US Patent No. 9,687,434 B2; L’Oréal, Paris, has patented acosmetic method for stimulating, restoring or regulating metabolism of a skin cell or a cell of a semimucus membrane. The method entails administering, by an external topical route, a composition comprising a steviol glycoside derivative or of a stereoisomer thereof, to an individual in need thereof, wherein the steviol glycoside derivative is selected from the group consisting of rebaudioside A, rebaudioside B, rebaudioside D, rebaudioside E, rebaudioside F, steviolbioside, and mixtures thereof.
