Applications are now being accepted for the annual Consumer Specialty Products Association Murray Glauberman Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship program is open to all 2018 graduating high school seniors and honorably discharged veterans who entered the military immediately following high school and plan to begin college studies in the Fall of 2018.
The $8,000 scholarship, which is conferred in annual installments of $2,000 over a four-year period, will be awarded to a child or grandchild of a parent or grandparent who is a full-time employee of a CSPA member company.
As an added incentive, the 2018 recipient will have the opportunity to attend the CSPA Mid-Year Meeting at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center located in National Harbor, Maryland, as a guest of the Association and will be presented with the scholarship award at the General Session.
All entries will be judged by a three-person scholarship committee, and the 2018 scholarship recipient will be selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and participation in school and community activities, honors, statement of educational and career goals, and recommendation by a school official.
Named for the late Murray Glauberman, CSPA’s 1986 chairman of the board, the scholarship award encourages the pursuit of collegiate studies. Since the inception of the program in 1988, CSPA has awarded a total of $232,000 to 29 children of member company employees.
CSPA welcomes all contributions to further support this very worthwhile effort. Thank you for your assistance in promoting the Murray Glauberman Memorial Scholarship program.
