Cornelius Group Plc, a European distributor and manufacturer of speciality chemicals, ingredients and raw materials for the performance chemicals, personal care and health & nutrition markets, has appointed a new group finance director.
With 28 years' experience in finance, Phillip Gibbons, will play a key role at Cornelius in helping to deliver growth plans and drive the strategic direction of the company. He has been appointed to the main board of Cornelius Group Plc.
"Phillip's track record, international experience, and contacts in the profession are second to none and we are thrilled to have him on board," said Neville Prior, chairman of Cornelius. "Attracting someone of Phillip's caliber into the business is a great endorsement of our strategy and ambition. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and experience which will be vital as we continue our ambitious plans to grow and develop solutions for our principals."
With leadership experience in both finance and general management, Gibbons joined Cornelius on December 13, 2017, from Kodak Alaris Holdings Ltd. where he held the title of chief finance officer. Prior to this, he had a 23-year career with Eastman Kodak Company.
