The 2018 American Cleaning Institute Annual Meeting & Industry Convention gets underway at Grande Lakes Orlando beginning with the 9th annual golf tournament on Monday, January 29. Throughout the week, attendees have the opportunity to give back by participating in the Clean the World Hygiene Kit Builds, which is sponsored by P&G Chemicals
On Tuesday, January 30, ACI members can get a global industry update from international association executives.
On Wednesday, January 31, there is an opportunity to hear what Millennials think about cleaning products and the cleaning process in a consumer panel sponsored by Takasago. Other events include an ACI issues briefing, Quack for a Reason Charity Duck Race and the President's Reception.
Thursday, February 1 starts with a Fun Run sponsored by Lubrizol Home Care. Afterwards, there's breakfast and industry awards, followed by a presentation by Olympic Medalist Bonnie St. John, whose talk is titled "High Performance Resilience." Later, attendees can hone their communication skills by attending a workshop presented by Emmy and Peabody winner Heidi Berenson, president of Washington,. DC-based Berenson Communications, Inc. From 3:30 to 5pm, the BASF-sponsored Women's Networking Forum and Panel will discuss, "Inclusive Leadership: Leveraging Differences to Drive Business Results."
The annual meeting and breakfast session will be held Friday, February 2. Several ndustry suppliers will have an opportunity to discuss their latest innovations for the cleaning industry.
Throughout the week, industry suppliers and buyers will huddle in suites and meeting rooms to discuss business for 2018 and beyond.
