Botaneco, Inc. and Acme-Hardesty are expanding their current partnership to now serve the western region of the US personal care market, effective Aug. 3, 2018.
According to Botaneco’s chief sales and marketing officer Stacey Walstrum, the choice to team with Acme-Hardesty as distributor was a logical one.
"We already have a strong working relationship with them, so it made sense to expand with them as they build a business based on natural products. Acme-Hardesty brings deep knowledge and a high level of technical expertise with personal care ingredients to our partnership, but, most importantly, they also exhibit values that are important to us. Ultimately, we believe their collaborative and creative approach to working with customers will be a key driver for everyone’s growth,” she said.
Acme-Hardesty will provide continuity for delivery of Botaneco’s core product portfolio, including Hydresia, Capsol, and Karmyn.
Caren Dres-Hajeski, Acme-Hardesty’s business unit director-personal care, explained that Botaneco’s commitment to improve the natural performance of personal care products is only part of what attracted them to the partnership.
“The Botaneco products bring a new category of ingredients to our portfolio, enabling us to serve a changing market with natural ingredients that stand apart. We look forward to creating a new world of potential with the service and technical support we’re known to provide to customers,” said Dres-Hajeski.
