A PCHi highlight, the Fountain Awards, was introduced two years ago to reward and spur the industry toward advancing research capabilities and developing cutting-edge technologies. The Awards is open to PCHi 2019 exhibitors at no fee, and companies are now invited to submit their nominations.
Comprising a total of five categories, the PCHi Fountain Awards recognizes excellence in technology, packaging, and inpersonal contributions. They include:
• Active Ingredients (Moisturizing & Hydrating, Anti-Aging, Whitening & Brightening, Others)
• Functional Ingredients (Emulsification & Stability, Sensory Enhancement, Others)
• Green/Sustainable
• Non-Ingredient Product and Technology; and
• Outstanding Individual of the Year Award.
All entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges, based on the criteria of innovation, technology, and market applicability. The judging panel for the Awards includes established domestic and international scientific researchers from renownedinstitutions and industry veterans from top cosmetics manufacturing companies. Experts from PCHi’s Cosmetics Science & Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC) and the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) will complete the panel.
