Beauty

Scott-Vincent Borba on true beauty.

Making others look good is my thing—it’s what I’m all about. I had low self esteem for much of my life due to the way that I looked. I had bad skin and it wreaked havoc on my social life. I would slouch to hide my face, avoid eye contact, and… avoid people.

I realized that beauty has a profound effect on human beings. Beauty can be something you embrace, or something you strive for. It wasn’t until I finally realized that in order to look beautiful, I had to live beautiful. I started exercising and taking care of myself. I cooked and ate healthy foods.

Then I began thinking beautiful. I cleared my mind of everything negative and embraced everything positive – everything beautiful. They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder – and my eyes were so clear that I began to see the beauty in everything. I finally had confidence and confidence made me beautiful. I created my company to share what I’ve learned about beauty and pass it on to everyone I meet.

When I give a celebrity a facial or I give advice to a customer, I tell them not to dwell on fixing their negatives, but to appreciate their positives. Beauty isn’t just a look, it’s a state of mind – and it’s beautiful.
