When it comes to beauty, Korea is years ahead, producing new technologies, ingredient discoveries and skincare innovation long before the rest of the world. From BB Creams to eyelash extensions, Korea is responsible for introducing some of the biggest (and best) beauty crazes of the past few years, and as we look for the next big skin care/cosmetic trends, there’s only one place to look: East.
So, what’s new and next in the beauty world?I Here's a look at some of the cutting-edge beauty breakthroughs just starting to surface stateside. The innovations are amazing – unlike anything we’ve seen – and I’d love for you to get your hands on the game changers before they go mainstream!
ExfoliPowders: Forget traveling with 3 fl. oz. bottles. The newest cleansers and exfoliators come in powder form and are activated by water, turning to a foamy gel on contact and packed with brighteners and skin soothers. They’ll replace your liquids and work as a cleanser, toner and exfoliator in one. Super cool demo!
Nanotechnology: This beauty buzzword is gaining rapid recognition as the next huge advancement in accelerating anti-aging. By encapsulating retinol/anti-agers in microscopic particles, you can tolerate extremely high concentrations without irritation – Thanks to nanotechnology, there’s now an eye cream with 3.8% retinol eye cream (the highest OTC concentration on the market) gentle enough for even sensitive eyelids.
Airless Pumps: First they invented tube squeezers, but now, skin care bottles have innovative airless pump technology that ensures every last drop of product is dispensed, with zero squeezing – A huge time and money saver!
Beauty Tablets: Treat inside and out with vitamins specifically designed to complement and accelerate results of your skin care routine.
