Procedure | |
Prepare a 2% solution of SoftCAT SK-H by sprinkling into agitating, room temperature water. Allow to disperse completely before beginning to heat slowly, with mixing, to 60-65°C. Solution should be crystal clear. In a separate container combine the Sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate and PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate. Mix while heating to 60-65°C until the thickener is dissolved and everything is uniform. Add the polymer solution to the beaker with the surfactants and thickener. Mix until uniform while cooling. At 40°C add glycerin, Ucon fluid 50-HB-660, DMDM hydantoin and fragrance. Continue mixing until room temperature is reached. Adjust pH using appropriate acid or base at room temperature (if necessary). | |
