James Alexander Introduces Color Graphics on Plastic

James Alexander Corporation, a manufacturer and contract packager of unit dose dispensing systems, now offers color printing and graphics on its complete line of plastic ampoules. James Alexander’s plastic ampoules, available in a wide range of sizes with a variety of applicator tips, can now feature printing or graphics in any Pantone Matching System color—with a maximum of three hues—in either standard or hot stamp foil printing. “This new printing option allows for logos and enhanced product branding to appear on our patented single-use dispenser for the very first time,” said Francesca Fazzolari, president of James Alexander. Ampacet Expands Frosted Glass Line of PET Bottles

Ampacet has extended its line of masterbatches that give polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles the look of frosted glass with a series of lower luster grades. The new grades give bottles a better matte finish that creates a strong similarity to etched glass for use with cosmetics and other upscale products. Ampacet’s frosted masterbatches are added during the extrusion process, which eliminates the need for the spray painting. More info:

Qosmedix Rolls Out Low Profile Collection

Qosmedix introduces low profile jars and accessories, ideal for lotions, creams, gels and cleansing treatment pads. Its white polystyrene jar can hold up to 2oz. of product with a choice of white or black polypropylene screw-on caps for product branding.  A dust disc liner protects the jar’s contents, and the stand-up tab makes it easily removable.
