Eco-Friendly One-Piece Oval Tubes from WWP

November 17, 2008

World Wide Packaging Inc. has added eco-friendly one-piece oval tubes. The body of the tube, as well as the head and cap, contain a layer of post-consumer, recycled plastic resins (PCR). In addition to being eco-friendly, the patented one-piece oval tube design eliminates the on-line filling problems associated with back-off in conventional tubes with caps, while ensuring the correct in-hand orientation of package graphics for maximum message and branding reinforcement. The tube prevents cap leakage and overflow, as well as residue contamination and contamination between the tube and cap. The tubes are custom-made with injection-molded flip-tops, angled applicators, and dome caps, and have gloss, matte or soft-touch finishes with a color, transparent, or pearlized luster. They are available in 16-mm, 25-mm, 35-mm, 40-mm, 45-mm and 50-mm sizes. More info: www.wwpinc.com
