The holiday season is often a hectic period of time for consumers looking for that perfect gift. This year, retailers are making it easier again by offering gift sets. For the procrastinators, some of the most creative gifts are as close as the local CVS/pharmacy store. Consumers will find a wide array of designer fragrances, bath and spa gift sets and stocking stuffers.

“CVS/pharmacy strives to be the easiest drugstore retailer for customers to use, and they are often pleasantly surprised to find so many great gift options and holiday necessities at our stores. We also offer extended hours and many 24 hour locations for customers that are pressed for time or don't have a chance to shop until the last minute this year,” said Mike Bloom, senior vice president of merchandising for CVS/pharmacy.

Sugar Cosmetics’ holiday collection, Deck the Halls with Boughs of Sugar, features the I Shop Fairytale Tote, a shopping bag-shaped mini makeup palette. The palette contains four eye shadows and four lip glosses that smell and taste sugary sweet. The I Shop Fairytale Tote is perfect for stocking stuffing.

Stand out this holiday season and glam out eyes with Glitterati, a set of five dual-ended eye shimmers, also from Sugar Cosmetics. One end is jam-packed with glitter while the other end contains a coordinating lightweight shadow base.

Yves Rocher, Luminelle Makeup brightens up the holiday season with new shades. Gloss Brilliantissime Ultra Shine Gloss is available in four new colors, Rose Idylle, Rough Scintillant, Corail Pétillant and Transparence. Iridescent Cream Eyeshadow is easy to apply and available in two new colors, Vert Givré and Parme Glacé.

Aside from makeup, Yves Rocher’s Limited Edition Jardins de Noël pampers with holiday season scents like Christmas Spice or Mandarin Almond shower gel and hand soap. Also the Limited Edition Les Plaisirs Nature set is a line of bath and body products available in various scents. For the holidays especially, the products, shower gel, eau de toilette and nourishing lip balm are housed in a candy jar. The scents include coconut, peach and vanilla.

Holiday gift sets for skin care do more than just keep skin clean and moisturized. For example, Kneipp Classic Sparkling Herbal Bath Tablets invigorate and energize for the holidays. Activated by warm water, aromatic essential oils help those stress-plagued loved-ones find a harmonious rhythm of life. Kneipp Classic Sparkling Herbal Bath Tablets come in festive holiday hues of Spruce (green) and Rosemary (red) and are available as single tablets or sold in sets of seven.

Spruce energizes, invigorates and renews energy to refresh and revitalize. Rosemary exhilarates and wakes up the system by stimulating blood circulation. The tablets are also available in an assorted pack including vetiver, ginger, spruce, rosemary, lavender, melissa, orange & linden blossom and juniper.

Highly-concentrated essential oils interact with the power of warm water to release essential oils and alleviate stress, strain and fatigue. The aromatic oils derive benefits through skin absorption and inhalation. The reaction of sodium hydrogen carbonate + citric acid releases carbon dioxide, causing the Kneipp Classic Sparking Herbal Bath Tablets to sparkle, according to the company.

The 100% natural Kneipp Classic Herbal Bath Oils are alkaline-free, preservative free, dermatologist tested, bath tub friendly (leaves tub clean) and skin-friendly (vitamin E). These pure essential oils are extracted through steam distillation, expression, cold pressing or CO2 extraction.

Save Your World geared up for the holiday season by offering three new value priced holiday gift bags starting at just $19.99 that will nourish the body and the soul.

“In today’s eco-friendly market, why not give a gift that soothes holiday stress and protects the environment for future generations,” explained Scott Cecil, president of Save Your World. “Save Your World’s Variety Pak, Jungle Pak and Luscious Lather Variety Soap gift bags feature shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, soaps and moisturizers that not only borrow scents from the rainforest, they protect it—each gift bag purchased saves five to twelve acres of rainforest for one year,” he added.

Looking for the perfect holiday spice for the homme? The new Fruits and Passion Homme is a musky aroma of sage, ginger, amber and wood artfully combined in a sleek, contemporary gift set. Also available, for the male traveler, the Fruits and Passion Homme Travel Kit is designed to keep him polished and dapper even while on the road.

Another holiday offering from Fruits and Passion is perfect for the kitchen. The Cucina Hand Duo Risotto Bag houses a purifying hand wash and regenerating hand cream in any of the collection’s scents, senguinelli orange and fennel, zucchini flower and truffle or fig and fresh herbs. Amaryllis Rich Hand Soap provides a festive fragrance of fresh fruits and spices mixed with warm holiday spices.

Kiss My Face’s new holiday collection mixes it up with traditional and non-traditional flavors like pomegranate, cherry, vanilla and cinnamon spice.

Kiss My Face Holiday Organic Lip Balm Duo Pack pampers by keeping lips soft and luscious for under the mistletoe kisses. Available in Cheeky Cherry and Vanilla N’ Ice, this naughty or nice combo will put carolers in the holiday spirit.

Holiday Organic Liquid Foaming Soap lathers up with one of two scents: Naughty Cinnamon Spice or Nice Pear & Pomegranate. Infused with the goodness of organic aloe, herbs, flowers and essential oils these instant foaming soaps work hard to keep hands soft, smooth and primed for the holiday festivities.

During this busy time of year, it often feels like there aren't enough hours in the day. In fact, about a third of shoppers polled recently by America's Research Group said they are waiting until the day before Christmas to finish their shopping. Whether its done ahead of time or not, there are a variety of options to choose from to make this seasons’ holidays bright.
