Special fundraising products out now.

Bright Future

Here’s a look at the latest “pink ribbon” personal care launches that raise proceeds for breast cancer awareness. Jane Iredale celebrates six years of partnership with Living Beyond Breast Cancer with the launch of Bright Future ($30). This mirrored compact features five favorite eyeshadow shades (Peach Sherbet, Pink Glaze, Red Carpet, Pink Cloud, and Dusk) along with a travel-sized eye shadow brush, for on-the-go application and touch ups. Adorned with a rose-colored Swarovski crystal, Bright Future is packaged in a festive quilted-paper decorative box. One hundred percent of profits from the sale of Bright Future will be donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

Hydrate for Hope

Murad’s limited edition Hydrate for Hope set ($49.50) featuring Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture is both a good deal and a good deed. Murad donates 10% from the sale of this set sold to retailers to City of Hope’s breast and women’s cancers research, treatment and education programs. The kit, which comes with a hot pink cosmetic bag, includes Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture that features a luxurious blend of super-hydrating ingredients that quench skin and restore youthful resiliency and tone, according to the company. Avocado, sunflower and olive fruit oils fuel the formulation. Retinyl palmitate and shea butter improve texture and tone.

OPI launched its seventh annual limited edition Pink of Hearts promotion ($19.95n, featuring the classic sheer pink shade Pink-ing of You and the new sparkle-packed hue More than a Glimmer. Pink of Hearts 2013 will also include pink ribbon and crystal decals ($10 each) to embellish nails. This duo pack is designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. In 2013, OPI will donate $25,000 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) to Susan G. Komen. OPI will also donate $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.
